Actually, Pisang is the name of a small town from where one can step for ascending the Pisang Peak. However, as the elevation of Pisang Peak is not too much, the mountain climbers can simply scale the peak within the least period of time.

Pisang peak offers its trekkers an entertaining journey fleeting along various environment, different cultures, and prodigious landscapes. Even though this climb is treated to be among the effortless ones of the Himalayan area, a fairly high level of tangible fitness and health is still energetically praised.

The first ascent of Pisang Peak made by the German Expedition in 1955 and since then it has been something of abundant attention. Trekkers with least experience in climbing can associate with the popular typical Annapurna circuit trek to have the touch of the climbing in the Sierra in Nepal.

When to go

Trek can be done throughout the year, some period of time may be tough and difficult and some may be full of the beautiful environment; some period of time will be crowded with eye-catching views whereas some will be peaceful trails and not clear views. You have to decide on which period of time you want to visit. According to the difficulty level and the nature September – October, April – May are the best time throughout the year. You can trek during winter but monsoon season will be too much dangerous and risky.

Physical Condition & Experience Requirements

Pisang Peak is not very specialized but you are enforced to have slightly some rock climbing or mountain climbing knowledge. There will also be a vital training which will assist us to enlighten us using climbing equipment. Trekkers must be able to walk at least 5-6 hours a day and on the day of the summit, trekker needs to walk for 8-9 hours. Due to which physical fitness is highly essential.  To improve your strength you can do jogging every day.

It is essential for participants with the above-mentioned medical circumstances such as heart, lung, and blood diseases to discuss their doctor before taking the journey.

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft).
Day 2 Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft).
Day 3 Drive Kathmandu to Syange/ Jagat (1,100m/3,608 ft), 8 - 10 hrs.
Day 4 Trek Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430 ft), 5 - 6 hrs.
Day 5 Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891 ft), 5 - 6 hrs.
Day 6 Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10,824 ft), 5 - 6 hrs.
Day 7 Day for relax and Acclimatization (3,300m/12,136 ft).
Day 8 Pisang to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,380m/14,370 ft), 4 - 5 hrs.
Day 9 Pisang Peak Base Camp to Pisang Peak High Camp (5,400m/17,712 ft), 3 - 4 hrs trek.
Day 10 High camp to Summit (6,091m) to Base Camp (6,091m/19,980 ft), 8 - 9 hrs.
Day 11 Pisang Peak Base Camp to Manang Valley (3,450m/11,316 ft),5 - 6 hrs trek.
Day 12 Manang, Rest Day.
Day 13 Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484 ft), 3 - 4 hrs.
Day 14 Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092 ft),3 - 4 hrs.
Day 15 Thorong Phedi to Thorong La (5,416m) to Muktinath (3,800/12,467 ft),9 - 10 hrs.
Day 16 Drive Muktinath to Tatopani (1,200m/3,937 ft), 6 - 8 hrs (850m/9,350 ft), 7 to- 8 hrs.
Day 17 Poon hill hike (3,210m/10,528 ft), and trek to Tadapani (2,520m/8,268 ft), 6 - 7 hrs walk (1,950m/6,398 ft), 3 - 4 hrs walk.
Day 18 Trek Ghandruk to Pothana(1,910m/6,266 ft), 5 - 6 hrs walk.
Day 19 Short trek to Phedi (910m/ 2,986 ft), 3 - 4 hrs and 30 min drive to Pokhara.
Day 20 Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, 5 - 6 hrs drive and free afternoon.
Day 21 Final departure.
