Sisa Pangma is the 14th mountain of height 8000 meters which are thought-out as the last one. It lies in Tibet and just 5 km far from Nepal border.
First climbed of Sisa Pangma by the Chinese in 1964. Three specific climbing trails are there, on the Southwest face with various other logical capabilities on the West Ridge and East face.
Sisa Pangma expedition provides stunning Himalayan looks of Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt.Everest, Lhakpa Ri, Gurla Mandata, etc, alluring valleys, Potala Palace and Tibetan monasteries.
Historical myth
According to the story, during a specific year a heavy blizzard execute most of the animals at grazing field, and all that the folks living nearby the mountain had to feed was the meat of the lifeless animals and the beer sediment left over from seething beer, and so the mountain was titled as Sisa Pangma, indicating “meat of lifeless animals and sediment beer”. The Sanskrit name of the Sisa Pangma mountain, Gosainthan is “place of the holy person” or “address of God”.
Permit for Sisa Pangma Expedition
Every external traveler requires to request for somewhat three visas to visit the Sisa Pangma Expedition. This is because the international boundary between China and Nepal drive side to side the exact summit mark of Sisa Pangma Expedition.
First: Tibet Entry Permit which is circulated by the Tibet Tourism Bureau, but it has to be tested via a Tibet travel agency.
Second: Frontier Pass, which can be circulated via Armed Police Tibet Frontier Corps in Lhasa. This visa will grant you to go to Mt. Everest or Nepal through Zhangmu Border.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel (1,350m/4,429 ft).
Day 2 Rest and preparation day for assignment & briefing before departure from Kathmandu.
Day 3 Fly from Kathmandu to Gongkar Airport Lhasa (3,650m/11,975 ft). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 Drive to Sightseeing around Lhasa with Tibetian English guide, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5 Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m/12,957 ft), 5 - 6 hrs. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6 Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse (Xigatse) in an altitude of (3,950m/12,957 ft), 4 hrs. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 Drive from Shigatse to Tingri (4,350m/14,269 ft), 5 hrs. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 8 Rest day at Tingri for acclimatization. The climbing Sirdar will take you up to a (5,000m/1,6404 ft) hill for acclimatization after breakfast.
Day 9 Drive from Tingri to Chinese Base Camp, Camping accommodation.
Day 10 Rest Day at Chinese Base Camp for acclimatization.
Day 11 Trek from Chinese Base Camp to Middle Camp (5,220m/17,125 ft). Camping accommodation.
Day 12 Trek from Middle Camp to Sisa Pangma Advance Base Camp (5,400m). Camping accommodation.
Day 13-39 Climbing period to Summit Sisa Pangma (8,013m/26,289 ft), Camp 1, Camp 2, Camp 3, Summit.
Day 40 Preparation to returning (Clean Base Camp) and trek to Middle Camp (5,200m/17,125 ft) and then drive to Tingri (4,348m/14,268 ft).
Day 41 Drive from Tingri to Shigatse (Xigatse). Overnight at hotel.
Day 42 Early in the morning drive from Sigatse to Lhasa, Overnight at hotel.
Day 43 Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 44 Free day in Kathmandu and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 45 Transfer to airport for final departure.
