Passport and Visa required for Gokyo Rengo La pass

All overseas citizens, other than Indian natives, require permits to enter Nepal. The hiker must bring a valid passport and have acquired the correct permits.

Please assure your passport is well-founded for 6 months apart from the duration of the journey. Nepalese permit can be achieved from the Nepalese Embassy or consular office in your home country or it can also be achieved at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu at the time of your landing.

For Tibet and Bhutan, the agency can make the required preparations upon request.

Itinerary


Day 1 Arrivals and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu to Lukla, 30min flight (2,780m), trek to Phakding (2,620m), 4 hrs.
Day 3 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 5 hrs.
Day 4 Rest day in Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization.
Day 5 Trek to Thame (3,800m), 3 hrs.
Day 6 Thame to Lunden (4,380m), 5 hrs.
Day 7 Lunden to Renchola (5,360m) and trek to Gokyo Lake, 7 hrs.
Day 8 Gokyo Lake Exploration.
Day 9 Gokyo Lake to Dole (4,200m), 5 hrs.
Day 10 Dole to Khumjung Village, 5 hrs.
Day 11 Khumjung to Namche-Manjo, 5 hrs.
Day 12 Manjo to Lukla, 5 hrs.
Day 13 Lukla to Kathamndu by air, transfer to Hotel.
Day 14 Final Departure.
