For those who want to climb the mountain but with less effort then Yala Peak is one of the best options to mount in Nepal. Located in between Nepal and Tibet so that the culture of this place is influenced by the Tibetan culture.
During the trip, one can view some Himalayas from Yala Peak: Manaslu range, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal range, Shishapangma, Naya Kang, and Gangchempo.
The Yala Peak climbing goes via the Langtang National Park. It is booming with red blooming rhododendron, stunning landscapes, natural scenes along with Red Panda and Snow Leopard in the fauna. The glimpses of Langtang Valley is considered to be the most stunning glimpse in the world.
Required Physical condition:
Yala Peak is moderate and demanding kind of trek where desirous trekkers take part in it. They must have the capacity to walk for 4-7 hours a day. Trekking to the high elevation is more difficult than the low elevation.
To success, the trip one must have the good condition of health, average physical condition, desirous, confident, bravery, and a positive attitude.
If one has previous hiking experience or exercising habits then that will be merit for your trek. Besides from this, if one has some health issues such as lung, heart, and other diseases; it is better to discuss with your doctor before booking the trip.
When to go?
For Trekking, to the high elevation, we must be familiar with the weather condition. Autumn from September-November and spring from March-May is the finest period of time for trekking in the Himalayas. During this time the sky is clear, the surrounding environment will be amazing and the views from the top will be magnificent.
Trekking in summer and Monsoon from June-August is anxious by rain so it will be crucial or risky. Instead, form this one can trek in winter but coldness could be most nasty for many trekkers.
Itinerary
Day 1 Greetings at Kathmandu Airport.
Day 2 A full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the capital valley.
Day 3 Kathmandu drive to Syabru Bensi (1,550m/5,100 ft).
Day 4 Trek Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2,450m).
Day 5 Lama Hotel trek to Langtang Village (3,430m).
Day 6 Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m).
Day 7 Acclimatization day in Kyanjin.
Day 8 Kyanjin Gompa to Yala Peak Base Camp (5,732m).
Day 9 Base Camp - summit (Yala Peak), return to Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 10 Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel.
Day 11 Lama Hotel trek to Syabru Bensi (1,550m), walking distance, 4 - 5 hrs. Descent - 10.9 km.
Day 12 Drive back to Kathmandu, 7 - 8 hrs drive in mountain road.
Day 13 Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 14 Farewell Departure.
