Annapurna Round trek
A complete trek encompasses the splendid Annapurna mountains which is one of the terrific mountains in the Himalayas and is commonly characterized as one of the topmost ten treks in the world. When to do Annapurna Round Trek?
Annapurna Round trek is always better to prepare in between October and November, however, September and December to are not so bad. During perfect months the weather will be clear and offering great views of mountains within Annapurna and Dhaulagiri region.
Mountains cannot trek in the rainy or winter season. Because of the cold temperature which everyone cannot bear which may be in negative degrees. For trekkers who prefer to trek in less crowded season, one can easily tailor-made Annapurna Circuit Trek (December, January, and February).
As well as the months of rain or monsoon seasons are also not suitable because of a risky and slippery path. Not only this landslides may occur too. And during this time the climate may not be clear and imperfect vision too.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek Preparation.
Day 3 Drive to Khudi (800m/2,624 ft), 7- 8 hrs.
Day 4 Khudi to Sirung (2,200m/7,216 ft), 6 - 7 hrs.
Day 5 Sirung to Jagat (1,300m/4,265 ft), 6 - 7 hrs.
Day 6 Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430 ft), 7 - 8 hrs.
Day 7 Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891 ft), 5 - 6 hrs.
Day 8 Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10,824 ft), 5 - 6 hrs.
Day 9 Pisang to Manang, 6 - 7 hrs.
Day 10 Manang, Acclimatization day.
Day 11 Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484 ft), 3 - 4 hrs.
Day 12 Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092 ft), 3 - 4 hrs.
Day 13 Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467 ft) via Thorong La pass (5,416m/17,764 ft), 7 - 8 hrs.
Day 14 Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m/8,760 ft), 4 - 5 hrs.
Day 15 Marpha to Kalopani (2,530m/8,300 ft), 5 - 6 hrs.
Day 16 Kalopani to Tatopani (1,200m/3,937 ft), 6 - 7 hrs.
