The primary trail of Lhotse is through Everest’s South Col. Lhotse is observed as the least mounting activity of any 8000m peak in Nepal. Likewise, Lhotse Sar was first mounted by an Austrian expedition in 1970. There was no exact trail in the region before 1977. It was the German Expedition who had settled the use trail to summit the peak in the year 1977.
