The fifth highest mountain in the world, based in the Mahalangur Himalaya area as the same dimension to which Mt. Everest exists. Deliberated as one of the most burdensome mountains in the world to ascend. The mountain is flagrant for its abrupt point and knife-edged hills that are altogether open to the elements. Two sister summits of Makalu are Makalu II (7678m) and Chomo Lonzo (7804m).
History of Makalu Expedition
Three attempts were made in 1954, two in Spring and one in Autumn. At first in 1954, a US team mostly from California made the first attempt who trekked all the way from the Indian border near Biratnagar.
In the meantime, a British team matches the mountain, but Hillary became seriously ill and had to discharge thus the expedition was deserted. In the autumn of 1954, a French team pursues the peak one more time.
Three teams of French climbers in the spring made outstanding climbs on successive days. The peak was first charted and captured from the Tibetan side by the 1921 British Everest surveillance. Hillary and Shipton illustrated Mt. Makalu in 1951.
The Japanese mounted Mt. Makalu in 1970, another French team mounted it in 1971 and a Yugoslav arrived at the summit in 1975.
Physical and Technical need
High level of assurance and accomplishment on every member of the team are required. It is a very challenging mountain to crawl, probably one of the tough.
The regular trail follows the northeast hill through the pillion between Makalu and Kangchu Ftse via west face is also convenient.
The pyramid shape (the top of the mountain) grants a risky dare for many of the climbers. Climbers are enforced to have flawless skills in rock and ice climbing notably while accepting steep crawling and sharp hills.

Makalu Expedition you will discover beautiful Baruntse, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu etc; Delve into the Arun valley as well as various societies of Limbu, Sherpa, Gurung, Rai, and Brahmin folks.
