Manaslu Larke Pass based in the Mansiri Himal in the west-central part of Nepal. It’s named, whose meaning is “Mountain of the Spirit”, taken from the Sanskrit word Manasa, meaning “intellect” or “soul”.

On May 9, 1956, Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu climbed the Mt. Manaslu for the first time before that time it was restricted to climb for the foreigners.

Nowadays, Manaslu Larke Pass is becoming more demanding day by day for mountain ascending, backcountry trekking and to taste the Tibetan tradition.

Day 4 Trek begins from Aughat to Soti Khola (730m/2,395 ft).
Day 5 Soti Khola to Lapubeshi (8,80m/2,887 ft).
Day 6 Lapubeshi to Machha Khola (930m/3,051 ft).
Day 7 Machhakhola to Jagat (1,340m/4,396 ft).
Day 8 Jagat to Philim (1,590m/5,216 ft).
Day 9 Philim to Dang (1,860m/6,102 ft).
Day 10 Dang to Namru (2,660m/8,727 ft).
Day 11 Namru to Lhogaon (2,990m/9,809 ft).
Day 12 Lhogaon to Samagaon (3,530m/11,581 ft).
Day 13 Rest day, visit Punggen Gompa or Manaslu Base Camp.
Day 14 Samagaon to Samdo (3,800m/12,467 ft).
