You will hike to Hotel Everest View and walk through all major Sherpa villages. We’ll only skip the Nangkartshang Peak hike from Dingboche village. It will not affect your acclimatization too much because we hike slowly.

You will explore all main Sherpa villages such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche. Likewise, our short Everest Base Camp trek itinerary does not include the departure day. So, the day you return to Kathmandu will be the last day with us.

*By combining a helicopter flight from Kala Patthar, we can further shorten the trek by 3 full days. You skip almost 65 km of walking back to Lukla.

Every day, you will start trekking around 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. We leave after having a big breakfast. Porters help us carry our heavy duffel bags. We carry a daypack.

Between Lukla and Dingboche village, you will ascend and descend through forests of oak, rhododendron, and pine. The trail goes alongside the Dudh Koshi River, crossing it numerous times via suspension bridges.

Every village welcomes you with kind locals and warm hospitality. As you hike deep into the region, you will slowly learn about the Sherpa culture and meet with our Nepali communities.

On the way, you will explore stupas, prayer wheels, and monasteries. Similarly, every ady you will witness diverse landscapes and breathtaking mountain vistas.

Above Dingboche village, you will leave treeline behind and traverse glacier moraines and steep, rocky tracks to reach Gorak Shep. From Gorak Shep, you can hike to both Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar in two hours each.
